You might think it is a bit late to write on how to root Samsung Galaxy S2 in Ubuntu Linux because its been over 3 years since its release and there are already Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4 in market. But it was only recently when I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S2 after my contract with SFR was over. At least now I won’t be violating the warranty from the manufacturer as its over 2 years now for my phone.

The other reason why I am writing this article on rooting Android phone is that I did not find any good articles that could teach a beginner to easily root an Android smartphone on Linux. Now, I know how attached some folks are to their IRC clients. IRC users tend to fall into two camps: casual users and power users. #1 Resolve Network Issues
Many users are reporting problems with network issues after reboot. Let’s say you installed using the network method via protected WiFi. Everything works fine until you boot into the new install. The release notes come in handy in resolving the issue. Open YAST 2, click Support, then click release notes and go straight to section 4.1.
In the terminal, the following commands will ensure that NetworkManager in KDE works properly.
Stop the service first

That is a copy post and not tested because I don't have a Chromebook.

There are still some things a Chromebook can't do as well as a traditional fat-client style desktop. For me, it's graphics. I don't do much graphics work, but I do some and when I do my program of choice is the Gnu Image Manipulation Program (GIMP). While ChromeOS is based on Linux, it doesn't natively support sophisticated Linux programs such as GIMP, LibreOffice, or the Evolution mail client.
